A stroke occurs when blood flow to a part of the brain is interrupted or when a blood vessel in the brain bursts. Without oxygen and nutrients from blood, brain cells begin to die within minutes. There are two main types:
Ischemic stroke: Caused by a blood clot blocking a vessel in the brain (most common).
Hemorrhagic stroke: Caused by bleeding into or around the brain due to a ruptured vessel.
Each set contains a minimum of 4 items. Items vary.
